When we row:
The club rows on weekend mornings all year, and on Thursday evenings during summer time. Once the clocks change, on Thursday evenings the Club organises indoor circuit training at Sport Hallam.
Damflask Reservoir is a few miles outside of the city centre in the Peak District National Park. This setting provides 1.85Km useable stretch of water when the dam is at its fullest.
CSRC participate in many events across the country, ranging from local Yorkshire races and regattas to the world renowned Henley Royal. The Club enjoys a varied social scene while taking rowing, training and competing all very seriously.
Membership is open to all. However, as part of the 'Water Safety Code', all members must be able to swim 100m in light clothing. Members should also be in good health.
All categories of rowers are welcomed and CSRC will help and encourage newcomers.
