Contact Information:

CRC has an active membership base, with a wide age range, from junior rowers just starting out on their rowing career to masters (previously known as veterans) who have a wealth of experience.
The club participates in rowing events across the South of England, sometimes venturing further afield for other events at a national level. Our main racing focus during the summer season is the Hants & Dorset ARA series of regattas which takes place at coastal locations from Portsmouth to Swanage, and we run our own regatta on the River Stour outside our clubhouse at the beginning of August each year. We also participate in inland events, and the club has competed in recent years at the most prestigious national rowing events – Henley Royal Regatta, Womens Henley and the National Rowing Championships.
During the winter, CRC will participate in head races, mainly at inland locations throughout Southern England.
A weekend morning will see in the region of 40 – 50 rowers getting afloat for training, with all levels and all abilities well represented. In addition, squads train most evenings during the week, either on the water during the summer season, or ashore during the winter, when we run circuit training and other club training activities.
CRC has an active social side, largely focussed around our splendid clubhouse in a prime location on the River Stour, where we often hold impromptu Barbecues on summer evenings, together with other more formal events throughout the year.
