Parr's Priory Rowing Club

Contact Information:

PPRC is a small and friendly club located on the Tideway. We currently row out of Barn Elms Boathouse where we have access to all the facilities including the rowing tank.
If you are an experienced rower wanting to get back into rowing or want to know more about learning to row then contact either the Captain or Vice Captains. We are open to all and one of the few Tideway clubs that takes on complete Novices via our training course that begins in September.
We row throughout the year and race in Head Races and Regattas up and down the Thames and sometimes further afield.
As a minimum, our calendar includes the main head races on the Tideway in March, training camp in April, Peterborough regatta in May, a trip to Henley Royal in July with racing throughout July and August, followed by the Pairs and 4s head of the river in the latter months of the year.
In August we organise our own Club Regatta for newcomers to the sport. No experience is necessary, as we teach competitors the basics, but plenty of prizes are on offer (including a prize for the best fancy dress).
Our club has a strong social side and hosts events throughout the year, including our black tie annual dinner in September.
Whether you want to row competitively or just socially we have plenty to offer new members, so please get in touch.
