Comberton Judo Club

Comberton judo club was founded in 1985 and had a short closure in 1998/99. The clubs head coach is now Darren Challis, who is a British Judo Association registered level 3 coach and and EJU level 5 high performance coach. He was the assistant coach to Team England during the 2002 Commonwealth games. There are several other coaches at the club and a committee of parents administer the club. The club has many players who come along just for fun and some that compete at a regional level; and national level, only players who want to compete and are suitable for competitions will be selected and older/more-experienced players will get a yearly competition plan.
Club sessions are held in the new leisure facility, Comberton Leisure, Comberton Village College.
