Bangor City Hockey Club was once described by a group of practicing midwives as, “a club from Bangor City who play hockey”, and there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think to myself, “My God! Those people were right!”

 

Currently, we have two men’s teams and one ladies team. The men’s first team play their hockey every Saturday in Division 5 South of the North West League and the second team play every Sunday in Division 1 of the North Wales Men’s League. The ladies play their matches on Saturdays, in Division 2 of the North Wales Women’s League.

 

We’re constantly looking for players of all ages and abilities, including those who’ve never played before. As well as players, we’re also keen to attract qualified coaches and anyone who’s interested in umpiring.
