Bishop Auckland Canoe and Kayak Club was formed in 2010. We are a friendly welcoming club for paddlers of all ages and abilities. We try to encourage participation in all forms of paddlesport and have strong links with other local clubs. Our aims are to develop paddlesport in the Wear Valley and surrounding areas by providing quality coaching and encouraging links with local schools and organisations. In 2011 we were awarded the Clubmark quality status and have continued to develop as a club since then. We now run adult pool sessions during the week, child and family sessions at the weekend with outdoor day trips and weekends away.
