Kingston Kayak Club

Contact Information:

The Kingston Kayak Club was founded in 1983 from the old Wolfreton School Canoe Club. Originally the brainchild of Rod Dubber and Frank Courtney, it has rapidly evolved into a flourishing club, one of the biggest in the region, catering for all ages and abilities. The club is based at the Albert Avenue Swimming Baths Complex, just to the west of Hull’s city centre.
There are no restrictions as to membership – we welcome young and old, male and female, disabled and able-bodied. Canoeing is indeed a sport for all and as such the Club covers all aspects and disciplines of the sport, allowing the competitive to progress both nationally and internationally yet having plenty of scope for those of us who see our canoeing more as a means of getting some healthy exercise in a congenial atmosphere with good company.
The Kingston Kayak Club has its own club house at the Albert Avenue Pools complex and has the sole use of the outdoor Lido pool. Regular training sessions are held on the indoor pools.
