Henley Canoe Club

Contact Information:

We are a thriving, friendly canoeing club based in Henley-on-Thames open to anyone over the age of 9 and of any ability.
The Club is split into 3 sections for different age groups who meet on separate evenings but often come together for organised weekend trips.
The Junior Group meets on a Wednesday evening and caters for ages 9 - 13yrs, the Youth group meets on a Tuesday evening and caters for ages 14 - 17yrs and the adults meet on a Monday evening.
Each group has its own qualified coaches - enabling members to increase their abilities at their own pace.
During the Winter months we have access to a local pool where members can practice techniques in more favourable conditions.
Safety is paramount, both on and off the river, and members are encouraged to try out all the various boats and equipment that the Club has to offer.
The Club is based at The Eyot Centre and is set in large grounds on the banks of the River Thames, about 300m upstream from Henley Bridge.
Access is directly off the Wargrave Road, with ample car parking. The clubhouse has a meeting hall with kitchen, separate male and female changing facilities with hot showers and a members gymnasium.
