Contact Information:

Redcar Gymnastics Club is a small club based at 3 Kirkleatham Street in the centre of Redcar, near to the station. We are run by senior coach Mrs Diane Richardson, along with a small executive committee and a lot of volunteers, and offer gymnastics training at a variety of levels to young people from the Redcar area. Our members are aged from five upwards. All of our coaches are trained and fully registered with the British Gymnastics Association.
The club is completely self funded, and we always welcome offers of support with fund raising to help us keep the activities accessible to as many young people as possible.
The club premises are not large, but we do have a variety of equipment. At one end of the building is a fully sprung floor. The other end houses single and asymmetric bars, beam and bench and vault area with associated run-up areas, safety matting, and a foam pit. Safety is a prime consideration in all of our activities, and gymnasts are constantly supervised. The club fully adheres to all the recommendations of the British Gymnastics Association and has comprehensive safety, child protection and disciplinary procedures in place. In April 2005 we were awarded the GymMark quality award of the British Gymnastics Association.
