Contact Information:

Havering Dolphins Swimming Club was formed by Bill Dyer, Lynette Dyer and Julie Barnes in June 1999. The Dolphins were granted official affiliation to the national Amateur Swimming Association on 22nd October 1999. Both Bill and Lynette who were very much part of the Killerwhales' successes, now headed the Dolphins' coaching line-up.
On formation, local press coverage concerning the formation of the Dolphins had Julie Barnes quoted as saying "Our club will put swimmers first. We aim to be the biggest and best club in the area in the coming years. "We've only got around 20 swimmers so far but now we've got the go-ahead to compete we expect a lot more to join. "It'll take a couple of months to build up a squad and our first competitions will probably be in January."
Now three years on, the club boasts the Scottish National Champion, National level swimmers and the Learn-to-Swim and Development section of the club has grown to 100+ members.
