Contact Information:

R&RSC was formed as long ago as 1887 and is a competitive swimming club which participates in the National Speedo League as well as at County Level.
The Club is run on a voluntary basis with dedicated, qualified coaches and trainers under the auspices of an annually elected committee of parents and swimmers. The Club relies entirely on the assistance of swimmers' parents for its continued existence who will be asked to carry out a variety of tasks necessary to the running of the Club.
The aim of the club is to produce committed, competitive swimmers within a good club atmosphere and framework. Training sessions are structured towards producing keen competition swimmers who are expected to represent their Club when selected so that we can present the strongest team possible in competitions.
In order to give encouragement and experience there are competitions not only for 'A' teams but also for 'B' and 'C' teams so that the maximum number of members have the opportunity to represent the club.
There is a thriving Masters' section (over 25yrs), members of which train regularly and compete in the County Championships as well as other events.
We have members from a good cross-section of age ranges and from both sexes who compete in a number of different events.
The Club organises occasional social events for its members, including the popular annual dinner dance and the summer BBQ.
