Contact Information:

Swinton Boys Football Club was established in 1992. The Former Chairman Tom Holmes and his friend Mike Carroll set up with just one team and they started from a small porta-cabin situated on grass at the side of Springwood Primary School in Swinton.
Over the last 18 years the numbers of teams have continued to grow with more children from the local community wanting to play grassroots football. The club approached Salford Council who now provide a number of pitches at Rabbit Hills Playing Fields, Bolton Road and Bolton Road Playing Fields,Duchy.
Swinton JFC was lucky enough to then be invited to forge a partnership with Swinton Cricket Club, providing its members a further area to train and the use of a Club House. Sadly for the community Swinton Cricket Club folded, however this enabled Swinton JFC to become leaseholders of both the Clubhouse building and the playing field that goes with it. We have had to negotiate hard with Salford Council and only recently successfully secured a 15 year lease, laying the foundation for the future of Swinton FC and the children who are members of this club, allowing them to continue enjoying their chosen sport.
